Boys/Girls Track - Districts
The Lady Chargers track team finished 9th this weekend at the District Meet.
District placers for the Lady Chargers included; Jillian McDonnell 8th in high jump, Lydia McQuillen 8th in disc, the 4x8 team of Weilnau, Chaput, Anderson, and Facemire finished 5th, Ingrid Berckmueller finished 5th in the 100m and 400m. Advancing to the Regional Meet are Grace Anderson in the 1600m and 3200m, the 4x2 team of Weilnau, Corfman, Vitaz, and Berckmueller, and the 4x4 team of Weilnau, Corfman, Berckmueller, and Facemire.
The boys team also finished 9th at Districts. Trayvon Williams was the District Champion in the long jump, 2nd in the 100m, and 3rd in the 200m and will advance to Regionals in all 3 events. Reeder also advanced to the Regional Meet placing 3rd in the 400m. Kellen McDonnell placed 8th in the 3200, Wes Kryger placed 6th in the pole vault and the 4x800 relay team of McDonnell, Reeder, KIng, and Facemire placed 8th for the meet.

Boys Track - Districts
The boys track team competed last night in the first round of the district meet. Finishing in first place on the night was Trayvon Williams in the Long Jump. Also placing last night was Wes Kryger in the pole vault and the 4x800 relay team of Aiden Reeder, Kellen McDonnell, Chase King, and Logan Facemire. The remaining final events will be tomorrow. Boys/Girls Track - Margaretta Invitational
The Chargers competed at the 57th Annual Margaretta Invite this past Friday. The Lady Chargers finished 4th and the boy's finished 8th. Grace Anderson finished 2nd in the 2-mile, Jillian McDonnell took 2nd in high jump, Peyton Facemire took 3rd in the 800 and mile, Lily Kreglow finished 3rd in the 300m Hurdles, the 4x8 team of Gardner, Chaput, Risner, and Anderson finished 2nd, the 4x4 of Weilnau, Corfman, Berckmueller, and Facemire finished 2nd, and the 4x2 of Weilnau, Corfman, Vitaz, and Berckmueller finished 3rd. Trayvon WIlliams led the boys team with 2nd place finishes in the long jump and 100m dash. Williams also took 3rd in the 200. Aiden Reeder finished 3rd in the 800m run.

Boys/Girls Track vs. Port Clinton
We honored our senior Chargers as they competed at home vs Port Clinton last night.
Senior Spotlight:
Jillian McDonnell finished 1st in high jump with a personal best jump of 5'2" She also won the long jump and was on the 2nd place 4x1 relay.
Trayvon Williams won the 100m dash, 200m dash, and the long jump with a new personal best of 20'6.5".
Waylen Bock took first in the pole vault.
Peyton Facemire was a part of the winning 4x8 team and took 2nd in the mile.
Tannah Vitaz was a member of the 2nd place 4x1 and 4x2 relays.
The Boys Team Won the dual meet 83-45.
The Lady Chargers finished 2nd 67-70.

Boys Track - Huron Invitational
The boys track team finished in 6th place at the Huron Track Invitational over the weekend. Finishing in first place on the day was Trayvon Williams in the long jump. The boys run again tomorrow at home vs. Port Clinton.

Boys/Girls Track vs. Oak Harbor
The Lady Chargers track team lost a close match up to Oak Harbor at last night's dual with a final score of 67-70. First place finishes for the Chargers were, Zoey Corfman in the 200m dash, Maylie Weilnau in the 800m run, Grace Anderson in the mile and 2 mile, Jillian McDonnell in the high jump, the 4x2 of Ballah, Corfman, Kreglow, and Vitaz, and the 4x4 of Weilnau, Corfman, Berckmueller, and Risner. The Boys team also finished 2nd last night. Trayvon Williams had 3 impressive first place finishes last night in the 100m dash, 200m dash, and long jump with a jump of 20'9". Also taking first place for the Chargers were Colin Butler in the 300m hurdles and the 4x2 of Amaya-Serna, Garn, Rowe, and Bryant.

Girls Track - Edison Invitational
The Lady Chargers had many season best performances this weekend at the competitive Edison Track Invitational. The team finished 5th place overall. Medal earning performances included; Ingrid Berckmueller 2nd in the 100m dash, Jillian McDonnell 2nd in high jump, Maylie Weilnau 3rd in the 400m dash, Peyton Facemire 3rd in the 800m run, and Grace Anderson 3rd in the 3200m run.

Boys Track - Edison Invitational
The boys track team finished 8th place. Aiden Reeder placed in 4 events for the Chargers. Reeder took 3rd in the 400m dash and was a member of the placing 4x2, 4x4, and 4x8 relay teams. Additional strong performances came from J Williams who took 6th in discus, the 4x2 of Jose Serna Amaya, Josiah Bryant, Aiden Reeder, and Trayvon Williams finished 4th, and the 4x8 of Aiden Reeder, Kellen McDonnell, Chase King, and Quentin Cox placed 5th. The Chargers compete again this Tuesday at Oak Harbor.

The Lady Chargers finished 2nd last night at home against Port Clinton and Huron.
First place finishers for the Chargers were Maylie Weilnau in the 400, Lily Kreglow in the 300m Hurdles, Jillian McDonnell in high jump, the 4x8 relay of Haley Chaput, Zoey Corfman, Grace Anderson, and Peyton Facemire, and the 4x4 of Maylie Weilnau, Haley Chaput, Ingrid Berckmueller, and Peyton Facemire. Girls Track - New London Relays
The Lady Chargers track team competed at New London on Saturday. 1st place performances included the 4xmile of Grace Anderson, Haley Chaput, Ava Gardner, and Peyton Facemire, the 4x1 of Maylie Weilnau, Gabby Mesenburg, Ingrid Berckmueller, and Tannah Vitaz, and the 4x4 of Maylie Weilnau, Gabby Mesenburg, Ingrid Berckmueller, and Peyton Facemire. You have two opportunities to catch the Chargers at home this week as they take on Huron and Port Clinton on Tuesday and at the Edison Invitational on Saturday.

Girls Track vs. Norwalk/Perkins
The Lady Chargers track team performed well against some great competition last night taking on Perkins and Norwalk. Top performances include Lily Kreglow's impressive 300m hurdle victory and the women's 4x4 win with the team of Maylie Weilnau, Gabby Mesenburg, Ingrid Berckmueller, and Peyton Facemire. The Chargers compete again this Saturday at the New London Relays.

Boys/Girls Track vs. Monroeville/St. Paul
The men and women's track and field teams both won their meet last Friday vs St. Paul and Monroeville. First place finishers for the men's team included; the 4x8 (Butler, Facemire, Cox, McDonnell) Wes Kryger in the 110 and 300 hurdles, Trayvon Williams won the 100-200-and longjump, McDonnell in the mile and 2-mile, and Gavin West in high jump. First place finishers for the women's team included Lily Kreglow in the 100m hurdles, Ingrid Berckmueller in the 100 and 200, the 4x2 (Weilnau, Corfman, Kreglow, Vitaz) Grace Anderson in the mile, 4x1 (Weilnau, Mesenburg, Berkmueller, McDonnell) Peyton Facemire in the 800, Haley Chaput in the 2-mile, Jillian McDonnell in high jump and long jump, and the 4x4 (Weilnau, Mesenburg, Berckmueller, Facemire.) The Chargers compete again this Tuesday at Norwalk.

Girls Track vs. Vermilion
The Lady Chargers track team opened the season at home against Vermilion. First place finishes included Haley Chaput in the mile, Maylie Weilnau in the 400, Lily Risner in the 800, Katie Cumston in high jump, and Mary Anderson in the 2 mile. The girls compete again this Friday at St. Paul.

The boys track team lost to Vermillion last night with a score of 82 to 32. Finishing in first place for the boys team was Trayvon Williams in the 100 and 200. Wes Kryger won the pole vault. The boys team competes again this Friday at St. Paul with Monroeville. Good luck boys.

Boys/Girls Track - Regionals
Congratulations to freshman Grace Anderson on qualifying to state in both the mile and 2 mile. Grace ran an impressive 5:07 in the mile and 11:29 in the 2 mile. Earning spots on the podium at regionals were the girls 4x8 of Chaput, Weilnau, Facemire, and Anderson with an 8th place finish. Trayvon Williams was 8th in the 200m dash. Aidan Anderson was 6th in the mile. Torri Keyser was 5th in the 300m hurdles. Grace Anderson will compete Saturday at Jesse Owen's stadium. Good luck Grace!

Girls Track - Districts
The Lady Chargers track team finished 3rd overall at districts. Qualifiers for the Regional meet beginning today are Haley Chaput, Maylie Weilnau, Peyton Facemire, and Grace Anderson in the 4x8. Torri Keyser in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles. Grace Anderson in the mile and 2 mile. Ingrid Berckmueller and Maylie Weilnau in the 400. Madi Corapi in shot put, and the 4x4 team of Maylie Weilnau, Torri Keyser, Peyton Facemire, and Ingrid Berckmueller. Please wish them luck!

Girls Track - SBC
The Lady Chargers showed up ready to give it their all at the SBC meet this past week. The culmination of 19 season best marks resulted in the team's Runner-Up achievement. SBC Champions for the Lady Chargers were Torri Keyser in the 300m Hurdles, Grace Anderson in the 3200m run, and the 4x4 relay of Weilnau, Facemire, Keyser, and Berckmueler. The Chargers had freshmen scoring in 7 open events! Among those were Ingrid Berckmueler who placed 2nd in the 400, 3rd in the 200, and 5th in the 100. Grace Anderson who won the 3200 and placed 2nd in the mile. Maylie Weilnau placed 5th in the 400, and Zoey Corfman placed 8th in the open 800. Madi Corapi placed 2nd in both shot and disc. Haley Chaput had an impressive day doubling in the mile and 2 mile and placed 4th and 3rd. In addition to her SBC titles in the 300m hurdles and the 4x4 Torri Keyser placed 4th in high jump and 4th in the 100m hurdles. Peyton Facemire placed 3rd in the open 800. Lydia McQuillen had a near 3 foot PR in shot put and placed 7th. Jillian McDonnel placed 4th in both high jump and long jump. Seniors Isabellah Linder and Jamie Teed came in strong in pole vault finishing 5th and 6th. Lillian Kreglow placed 6th in the 300m hurdles. The girls 4x8 of Chaput, Weilnau, Facemire, and Anderson placed 2nd with an impressive time of 10:11. The 4x1 of Gulett, Keoghan, Teed, and Moon placed 4th with their season best time. The 4x2 of Gullett, Corfman, Weilnau, and Teed placed 5th. Avery Rutherford had a season best performance in disc and made it to finals. We are incredibly proud of our Chargers and look forward to seeing more season best performances as we move on to districts.

Boys Track - SBC
The boys track team competed over the weekend at the SBC championships scoring 106 points good for 3rd place. Finishing as SBC champ is Trayvon Williams in the Long Jump and Cole Weilnau in the 800. The boys compete again this Thursday in the District meet.

The boys track team competed last Friday night and scored 55 team points. The lone champion on the night was Cole Weilnau in the 800m run. The boys compete again tomorrow in the 2nd annual Erie County meet. Good luck boys.

Girls Track vs. Port Clinton
The Lady Chargers came away with a close victory over Port Clinton last night. Madi Corapi won both shot and disc, Grace Anderson won the 800 and mile, Haley Chaput ran an impressive 20 second PR in the 2 mile winning the event and won the 4x8 along with Zoey Corfman, Lindsay Sneider, and Maylie Weilnau. Lillian Kreglow won the 300m hurdles and placed 3rd in the 100m hurdles, Peyton Facemire placed 2nd in the 800 and mile, Jamie Teed won pole vault with a season best 7'6 " vault, Zoey Corfman placed 2nd in the 400, Mary Anderson placed 2nd in the 2 mile, Jillian McDonnell won high jump and placed 2nd in long jump. Madison Ballah placed 2nd in high jump. Lydia McQuillen placed 3rd in shot put, Avery Rutherford placed 3rd in disc, Tannah Vitaz placed 3rd in the 400, and Keira Keoghan placed 3rd in long jump. The Chargers compete again on Friday at The Margaretta Invite.

Finishing in first place on the night was: Aiden Anderson in the 1600 and 3200, Wes Kryger in the Pole Vault, Gavin O'Dell in the High Jump, Troy Rutherford in the 200 and Cole Weilnau in the 400. Girls Track - Huron Invitational Champions!
The Lady Chargers had an impressive win at the Huron Invite this past Saturday with multiple PRs and many athletes competing in new events. Grace Anderson, Torri Keyser, and Ingrid Berkmueller were individual champions for the Chargers. Grace won the 1600, placed 2nd in 800, and 2nd in the 4x8 along with teammates Lindsay Sneider, Haley Chaput, and Zoe Corfman. Torri won the 300m hurdles, placed 2nd in the 100m hurdles, was 3rd in high jump, and was on the runner-up 4x2 along with Ingrid, Maylie Weilnau, and Jamie Teed. Ingrid won the 400m dash, placed 2nd in the 100, and 5th in the 200. Other outstanding performances came from Lillian Kreglow, who placed 3rd in the 300m hurdles, 5th in the 100m hurdles, and was 7th in the 4x1 along with Kaira Gullet, Morgan Moon, and Jaime Teed. Madi Corapi placed 2nd in disc and 4th in shot. Isabellah Linder placed 3rd in pole vault and Jaime Teed took 5th. Mary Anderson placed 5th in the 2 mile and 7th in the mile. Maylie Weilnau placed 3rd in the 400 and was on the 2nd place 4x4 relay along with Zoe Corfman, Jaime Teed, and Haley Chaput. Haley Chaput also placed 3rd in the 800.

Girls Track vs. Oak Harbor
The Lady Chargers competed in their final home meet of the season last night with a tie against Oak Harbor. Senior Madi Corapi made a great final showing at home by winning both the shot put and discus. Lindsay Sneider came away a champion in the 3200m run and runner up in the 4x8. Torri Keyser won the 400m dash and placed 2nd in the 100m hurdles and high jump. Isabellah Linder took 3rd in pole vault. Additional great performances included Grace Anderson's 1st place finishes in the 800 and mile, Lillian Kreglow took 1st in the 300m hurdles, Ingrid Berckmueller won the 200m dash followed by Maylie Weilnau in 2nd. Ingrid also placed 2nd in the 100m dash. Jillian McDonnell placed 2nd in long jump and 3rd in high jump. Haley Chaput placed 2nd in the 800 and mile. Mary Anderson placed 3rd in the mile. Maylie Weilnau took 2nd in the 400m run and Zoey Corfman took 3rd. The team competes again this Saturday at the Huron Invite.

The boys track team competed last night in their last home meet of the season. The boys lost to Oak Harbor by a score of 84 to 53. Finishing in first place on the evening for the team were: Aidan Anderson in the 3200, Jackson Michaelis in the 1600, Gavin O'Dell in the High Jump, Cole Weilnau in the 400 and Trayvon Williams in the 200 and Long Jump. Girls Track - Edison Invitational
Our freshman had a strong presence at the Edison Invite this past weekend and the Lady Chargers came in 4th place out of 15 teams. Grace Anderson was a meet champion in both the mile and 2 mile. Ingrid Berckmueller placed 3rd in the 100, 4th in the 200, 5th in the 400, and 4th in the 4x2 alongside teammates Kaira Gulett, Zoe Corfman, and Jamie Teed. Torri Keyser was also a meet Champion in the 300m hurdles and placed 3rd in the 100m hurdles, and 3rd in high jump. Isabella Linder finished 4th in pole vault, the 4x8 team of Chaput, Corfman, Sneider, and Facemire also finished in 4th place. Maylie Weilnau placed 7th in the 400, Mary Anderson placed 8th in the 2 mile, and Haley Chaput finished 8th in the mile. The Lady Chargers will compete again at home this Tuesday against Oak Harbor.

The Lady Chargers placed first last night against Huron and Port Clinton. Finishing first for the Chargers were Haley Chaput in the 3200, Torri Keyser in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles, Isabellah Linder in Pole vault, Madi Corapi in shot and disc, and our 4x8 team of Chaput, Sneider, Coffman, and Grace Anderson. Ingrid Berckmueller finished 2nd in the 100 and 200m dash, Jillian McDonnell placed 2nd in high jump, Grace Anderson finished 2nd in the mile, and Mary Anderson placed 3rd in the 800. The Lady Chargers compete again this Saturday at the Edison Invite.

Finishing in first place for the boys team were: Aidan Anderson in the 3200, Waylen Bock in the pole vault, Trayvon Williams in the 100 and the Long Jump and the 4x800 relay team of Aidan Anderson, Chase King, Cole Weilnau, and Jackson Michaelis. The team scored 47 team points on the evening. The Boys compete again this Saturday at home in the Edison Invite. Good luck boys!

The Lady Chargers track team finished 2nd last night in a tri-meet against Clyde and Port Clinton. Top finishers for the Chargers were Torri Keyser winning the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, high jump, and placing 4th in the 100m dash. Grace Anderson won both the mile and 2 mile, Haley Chaput took 1st in the 800 and 2nd in the mile, Ingrid Berckmueler placed 1st in the 200 and 2nd in the 100. Maylie Weilnau placed 2nd in the 400, Zoey Corfman placed 3rd in the 800, Mary Anderson placed 3rd in the 2 mile, Jamie Teed took 3rd in the 200, and Lindsay Sneider finished 4th in the 2 mile. The Chargers compete again this Saturday at the New London Relays.

The boys team competed against P.C. and Clyde last night scoring 41 team points. Finishing in first place for the boys last night were: Aidan Anderson in the 3200 and the 1600. The Lady Chargers scored 100 team points this past Friday night, defeating St. Paul at 42 points and Monroeville at 29 points. Earning top spots for the Chargers were Jillian McDonnald in high jump, Madison Corapi in discus, Isabellah Linder in pole vault, Torri Keyser won both hurdle events, Ingrid Berckmueller in the 200, Zoey Corfman in the 400, Haley Chaput in the 800, and Grace Anderson won the mile. Mary Anderson took 2nd place in the mile and the 2 mile, Keira Keoghan finished 2nd in long jump and 3rd in the 100, Jaime Teed took 2nd in the pole vault and 3rd in the 200, Tannah Vitaz was 2nd in the 100m hurdles, Lillian Kreglow was 2nd in the 400m dash and 3rd in the 100m hurdles, Madison Ballah took 3rd in the 300m hurdles and high jump.
First place relays included;4x2 relay of Vitaz, Weilnau, Teed, and Berckmueller, the 4x4 replay of Weinau, Grace Anderson, Corfman, and Kreglow and the 4x8 Grace Anderson, Sneider, Chaput, Weilnau. The Chargers compete again on Wednesday at Clyde.

The boys team competed in a tri meet on Friday night. Finishing in first place for the boys team were:
Trayvon Williams in the 100, 200, and Long Jump
Cole Weilnau in the 800, Waylen Bock in the Pole Vault
and Freshman Gavin Messenburg in the 110 meter High Hurdles. Way to go boys and good luck Wednesday verses Clyde and Port Clinton.

Girls track and field kicked off the season at home last night with a win against Vermilion. Leading the way for the Chargers was Torri Keyser who won the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and high jump. Madi Corapi took first place in shot and disc. Also placing first for the Chargers were Peyton Facemire in the 3200m run, Izabella Linder in pole vault, Haley Chaput in the mile, Ingrid Berckmueller in the 100m dash, and the 4x1 and 4x8 relay teams. Other placers for the team included Kaira Gullett, Maylie Weilnau, Rachael Frederick, Jaime Teed, Lindsay Sneider, Mary Anderson, and Zoe Corfman. Great work ladies!

The boys track team lost to Vermilion last night by a score of 75-60. Finishing in first place on the night were - Trayvon Williams in the 100 and 200. Cole Weilnau in the 400 , Aiden Anderson in the 800, Wes Kryger in the Pole Vault, The boys 4x800 relay team of Anderson, King, Weilnau, and Michalis, And the 4x400 relay team of Cox, Smith, Weilnau, Anderson. Girls Track - Districts
The Lady Chargers finished 4th place at the District meet in Ontario and 11 athletes are moving on the the Regional meet in Lexington. Abby Lesniak earned a District Champion title in the 3200m run. Joining her at Regionals are 4th place finishers Madison Corapi in shot put, Torri Keyser in high jump and the 300m hurdles, Katie Jeremay in pole vault, the 4x8 relay (Facemire, Schaefer, Chaput, and Lesniak) and the 4x2 relay (Woodyard, Klepper, Medina, and Vitaz) Additional strong meet performances include Rachel Klepper's 5th place finish in the 300m hurdles, Madison Corapi finished 5th in the discus, Lydia Woodyard was 6th in the long jump and 7th in the 200m dash, Isabellah Linder was 7th in pole vault, Peyton Facemire placed 7th in the mile, Lindsay Sneider finished 8th in the 3200m run, Torri Keyser finished 8th in the 100m hurdles, the 4x1 team finished 7th (Woodyard, Moon, Vitaz, Gessling) and 4x4 finished 8th (Medina, Schaefer, Klepper, Lesniak).

Girls Track - SBC
The Lady Chargers finished 3rd in the Bay Division of the SBC. Leading the way for the Chargers was Madison Corapi who earned her 2nd SBC title of the meet by winning the discus event and was awarded the Outstanding Field Event Performer for the meet. Abby Lesniak was a champion in the 2 mile- Lesniak has dominated this event since her freshman year and remained undefeated at the SBC meet. Abby also took 2nd place in the mile. Torri Keyser finished 2nd in the 300m hurdles, 4th in the 100m hurdles and 4th in high jump. Rachael Klepper finished 3rd in the 300m hurdles and 8th in the 100m hurdles. Katie Jeremay placed 3rd in pole vault. Haley Chaput had a 5th place finish in the open 800. Jayla Medina placed 6th in the 400m dash and 7th in the 200m dash. Isabellah Linder placed 5th in pole vault. Peyton Facemire finished 6th in the open 800 and mile. Lydia Woodyard placed 7th in the 200m dash. Lindsay Sneider had a 7th place finish in the 2 mile. Jillian McDonnell placed 8th in the high jump. The Lady Chargers finished 5th in the 4x1 (Woodyard, Moon, Vitaz, Gessling) 5th in the 4x2 (Woodyard, Klepper, Gessling, Vitaz) and 5th in the 4x4 (Medina, Schaefer, Klepper, Keyser).

Girls Track - SBC (Day 1 Results)
Madison Corapi got her team off to a great start by claiming her first SBC title in the shot put. Corapi's had the final throw of the night and it was this throw that bumped her from 2nd place to 1st. The 4x8 team of Facemire, Chaput, Schaefer, and Lesniak had a season PR and placed 2nd. Lydia Woodyard also scored for the Lady Chargers with a 7th place finish in the long jump.

The boys track team finished in 3rd place over the weekend at the Oak Harbor Invite scoring 92 team points. Finishing in first place for the boys team was Caleb Bell in the 400 and Dylan Odell in the High jump. The boys compete again this week at the SBC championships. Good luck boys.

The boys track team competed last night in the Erie County Invite finishing in 4th place with a team score of 81 points. Finishing on the night as Erie County Champions were Cole Weilnau in the 800 meter run and Dylan O'dell in the high jump. Congratulations boys. Girls Track - Erie County Invitational
The Lady Chargers finished in 3rd place at the 1st annual Erie County Invite. Kicking off the running events were Abby Lesniak, Peyton Facemire, Haiey Chaput, and Paige Scheafer in the undefeated 4x800m relay. Rachael Klepper had back to back personal bests in the hurdles finishing 4th in the 100m hurdles and 2nd in the 300m hurdles with a time of 49.41. Madison Corapi also had dual personal bests and placed 3rd in discus and shot put. Abby Lesniak set a meet record with her performance in the 800m run with a time of 2:20.56. The Chargers compete again this Friday at Oak Harbor.

Girls Track vs. Monroeville/Port Clinton
The Lady Chargers finished first place over Port Clinton and Monroeville in their final home meet of the season. Abby Lesniak led the Chargers in their sweep of the mile with a time of 5:26 followed by teammates Peyton Facemire, Lindsay Sneider, and Paige Schaefer. Additionally, Katie Jeremay took first place in the pole vault, Lydia Woodyard finished 1st in the 200m dash, 2nd in long jump, and was a member of the winning 4x200m relay. Torri Keysor claimed first in both the hurdle events. Also taking first place finishes were Jayla Medina in the 400m dash, Peyton Facemire in the 800m run, and Haley Chaput in the 3200m run. Several athletes achieved personal bests in field events including Jillian McDonnell with a third place performance and a jump of 4'10" in the high jump, Isabellah Linder who cleared 7' in pole vault to place 2nd, and Keira Keoghan who placed 3rd in the long jump with a leap of 12'10". Seniors Abby Lesniak and Jayla Medina completed their final competitive lap on their home track as members of the winning 4x4.

Girls Track - Huron Invitational Champions!
Our Lady Chargers put together an impressive team effort at the Huron Invite and came away champions. There aren't just a few individual performances to be mentioned as it took every scoring athletes contribution to come out on top. First place finishes include the 4x8 team of Facemire, Snieder, Lesniak, and Chaput, as well as Abby Lesniak in the mile. Torri Keysor took 2nd in high jump and 3rd in both the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles, Katie Jeremay placed 2nd in pole vault. Peyton Facemire placed 3rd in the 800, Maddi Corapi placed 4th and 6th in the throws, JaimeTeed finished 6th in pole vault, Jayla Medina finished 5th in the 400, the 4x1 and 4x2 teams both finished 6th with season best performances, Lydia Woodyard placed 7th in the long jump, Paige Schaefer placed 7th in the 400 and 8th in the 800, Sneider and Anderson put together a strong 4th and 5th place finish in the 2 mile that put us in contending position as we entered the final event, the 4x4 relay that finished 4th place.

Congratulations to the boys track track team for finishing as meet runner up this past weekend at the Edison Invite. The boys team scored a total of 112.5 points. Finishing as meet champion on the day was Garrett Scott in the 300 hurdles and Dylan O'Dell in the High Jump. The boys compete tomorrow at home versus Oak Harbor.

The Lady Chargers had several outstanding performances at our home tri meet with Port Clinton and Huron last night. Abby Lesniak won the open 800 and mile, Torri Keyser won the high jump, 100m and 300m hurdles, Madi Corapi won both the shot and discus throw, and Katie Jeremay won the pole vault. Girls Track vs. Vermilion
The Lady Chargers made a strong return to the track after a near 2 year absence and defeated Vermilion yesterday afternoon. There were many amazing performances. Torri Keyser took 1st place in all 3 of her individual events which included the high jump, 100m hurdles, and 300m hurdles. The girls distance runners swept both the 800m run and mile with Facemire winning the 800 and Lesniak the mile. Corapi and Linder had strong showings in the field events winning the discus and pole vault. Medina won the 400 m dash and Sneider won the 3200 m run. The Lady Chargers will be competing again this Saturday at St. Paul.

Congratulations to the boys 4x800 relay team! They qualified for the state meet next week by finishing 2nd at the regional meet last night. The team of Dan Lambert, Jon Hrivnak, Cole Weilnau, and Ty Coon ran an 8:04. They will run next Friday in Columbus. Way to go guys!

The boys track team finished 5th out of 17 teams at the District meet Friday night. Moving on to the regionals are: the 4X800 relay, Dan Lambert in the 1600, Ty Coon in the 3200, Dylan O’Dell in the high jump, Morgan Otto finished 6th in the 110 hurdles, the 4X200 team finished 5th. The boys track team participated at the district meet in Oak Harbor last night. The 4X800 team of Lambert, Hrivnak, Weilnau and Coon qualified for the regional by finishing 2nd with a personal best time of 8:02. This beat their previous best by 9 seconds. Way to go guys! Seth Kromer finished 5th in the pole vault and Ian Janssen finished 8th in the long jump. The remaining athletes qualified to run in the finals on Friday. Good Luck Chargers!

Boys Track - SBC (2nd Place)
The boys track team finished a close 2nd to Oak Harbor at the SBC meet Friday night. Ty Coon led the charge as he was named meet MVP. Ty won the 3200, 1600, and 800 meter runs and was also a member of the winning 4X800 relay. Dylan O’Dell won the high jump with a leap of 6’4”. Seth Kromer won the pole vault, Joe Malick finishes 2nd in the discus with a throw of 134’ , 15 feet farther than his previous best throw. Dan Lambert was 2nd in the 3200 and 1600. Connor Romell was 2nd in the 100 & 200. Jon Hrivnak was 2nd in the 800. Great job guys!

Girls Track - SBC (3rd Place)
The girls track team scored 103 points and finished 3rd overall in the SBC championships last Friday night. Abby Lesniak was the outstanding track athlete of the meet for the entire bay conference. Abby won the 3200, 1600, 800 and anchored the winning 4x800 relay to secure the award. The girls compete this Wednesday in the first round of district competition. Good Luck Ladies

She teamed up with Paige Schafer, Emma Houser, and Isabel Chasney to win the 4x800 relay. The girls track team competed Friday at the Oak Harbor Invite. The girls track team finished in 3rd place. Finishing in first place on the night was the 4x800 relay team of Emma Houser, Abby Lesniak, Isabel Chasney, and Paige Schafer. Abby also won the 1600. The boys track team finished 2nd at the Oak Harbor Invite Friday night. The highlight of the night was Dylan O’Dell setting a new school record in the high jump with a leap of 6’4 ¼” . The boys track team beat Willard in a dual meet last night. Finishing first for the Chargers were: Morgan Otto in the 110 and 300 hurdles, Caleb Bell in the 100 meters, Ty Coon in the 800 with a PR time of 1:58, Keagan Grames in the 3200 and Ian Janssen in the long jump. All four relay teams also won! Way to go guys!

Boys Track - New London Relays
The boys track team finished 2nd in a 12 team field at the New London relays Saturday. The Chargers broke a 25 year old meet record. The 4X1600 team of Dan Lambert, Jon Hrivnak, Keagan Grames and Ty Coon broke the record by 5 seconds. The 4X800 team of Lambert, Hrivnak, Cole Weilnau and Coon ran a 8:21 to break that record also! The long jump team of Ian Janssen, Justin Daniel and Garrett Scott also broke a record! Also finishing first was the 4X100 team of Connor Romell, Ian Janssen, Justin Daniel and Joe Stoll. Way to go guys!
