The Lady Chargers beat Vermilion last night at their final home meet, 64-55. Myah Handshoe led the way, winning the discus with a lifetime PR of 81' 5" and was second in shot put. Ingrid Berckmueller won the 400m run and was on the winning 4x1 (Kryger, Stover, Berckmueller, Corfman) and 4x4 (Berckmueller, Anderson, Risner, Corfman) . The ladies swept the 800 and the mile. In the 800, Lily Risner was 1st, Aili Corfman was 2nd, and Julianna Johnson was 3rd. Grace Anderson was first in the mile, Juianna Johnson 2nd, and Ava Gardner 3rd. Autumn Krieg was the champion in both the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles. Zoey Corfman was 2nd in the 400m. Joy Jordan was 2nd in the pole vault. Kendal Kryger was 3rd in the 100m. Sophie Baker took 3rd in the long jump. The 4x8 also finished first place (Anderson, Risner, A. Corfman, Gardner). The ladies compete again this Friday at the Margaretta Invite.
The Boys track team competed in a dual meet with Vermillion last night. Winning for the boys was Trevor Leimeister in the 100, 200, and 4x1 relay with Carter Jones, Wesley Seel, and Shawn Rowe. The 4x200 made up of Carter Jones, Colin Butler, Wesley Seel, and Shawn Rowe, also took first. Aiden Reeder won the 400-meter dash, and Colin Butler took first in the 300-meter hurdles. Jackson Michaelis rounded out the running events by winning the 800. In the field events Wesley Seel won the long jump, and Blayke McKillips won both the shot put and discus. The team will compete again this Friday at the Margaretta Invite.
The Lady Chargers competed at Port Clinton on Tuesday, April 22nd. First-place finishes came from Ingrid Berckmueller in the 200m dash, Zoey Corfman in the 400m run, Kendal Kryger in the 300m hurdles, the 4x4 (Berckmueller, Risner, A. Corfman, Z. Corfman), and the 4x8 (Anderson, Risner, A. Corfman, J. Johnson). The Chargers compete again this Saturday at the Huron Invite.

Zoey Corfman had a solid senior day performance placing 4th in the 100m dash, 3rd in the 400m, and 5th in the 200m.

Perkins Tri Meet April 15th
The Lady Chargers finished 2nd at the Perkins Tri Meet on April 15th
Senior Zoey Corfman took the triple, finishing 1st in the 100, 200m, and 400m.
Lily Risner won the 800m run.
Juliana Johnson took 1st in the mile.
Joy Jordan won pole vault.
Clyde Relays April 12th
The Lady Chargers finished 7th overall at the Clyde Hybrid Relay
Standout performances included the 4x1 thrower relay that took 1st place (Morgan Handshoe, A. Corfman, J. Jordan, and S. Baker), the 2nd place DMR (Risner, Z. Corfman, Johnson, Anderson) and 2nd place 4x8 (Risner, Z. Corfman, Johnson, Anderson)
Edison competed at the 41st Jim Hauser Perkins Relays on Friday night. The spotlight was on seniors Zoey Corfman, Ingrid Berckmueller, Aiden Reeder, and Jackson Michaelis, who set a meet record, winning the 4x4 mixed relay. Additional top performances on the women's side included the 2nd place DMR consisting of Aili Corfman, Lily Risner, Grace Anferson, and Julianna Johnson. Kendal Kryger, Mia Stover, Ingrid Berckmueller, and Zoey Corfman were on the 3rd place SMR team. Kendal Kryger and Rachael Frederick finished 3rd in the pole vault relay. Madison Ballah and Autumn Krieg were 4th in the high jump. Ingrid was 4th in the open 100m dash. Lily Risner, Ava Gardner, Grace Anderson, and Julianna Johnson finished 4th in the 4x8. The Chargers are at Margaretta on Tuesday, April 8th.
The Boys Track team competed at the Pirate Relays Friday night. Starting out the night was the 4xMile Relay, which placed 4th with Quentin Cox, Everett Gfell, Kellen McDonnell, and Jackson Michaelis. Jackson was also part of the 1st place CoEd 4x4 team of Zoey Corfman, Ingrid Berkmueller, and Aiden Reeder. Jackson also placed 2nd in the mile. Trevor Leimeister won the 100-meter dash and was part of the winning sprint medley relay of Shawn Rowe, Wesley Seel, and Aiden Reeder. Colin Butler placed 2nd in the 110-meter hurdles. Great Job, Boys! The team will be at Margaretta for a dual meet tomorrow.
