Boys Soccer vs Old Fort

The Charger boys soccer team energized Freedom Field with an 8-1 conference victory over Old Fort last night. The Charger captains; Trevor Leimeister, Alex Davidson, and Jose Serna Amaya each scored two goals to lead the Chargers to victory. Gannon Chartrant and Carter Jones added a goal each to finish out the scoring.  The Charger soccer team is back in action Wednesday @Perkins for a big conference showdown! Good Luck and Go Chargers!

Boys Soccer vs Huron

The Edison Chargers and Huron Tigers rivalry was on full display last night.  The two teams battled for over 70 minutes before Alex Davidson was able to break the 0-0 deadlock on a rebound goal from his blocked PK.  The Chargers' GK Gavin Mesenburg and the Chargers' back three of Trevor Leimeister, Gannon Chartrant, and Gabe Serna Amaya were stellar in helping the team keep a clean sheet.  The entire Charger squad chipped in the team effort to finish out the 2-0 victory.  The Chargers have another big clash on Wednesday vs the Norwalk Truckers.  Go Chargers!!!

Boys Soccer vs Vermilion

Senior goalkeeper Gavin Mesenburg and his defense- Trevor Leimeister, Gannon Chartrant, and Gabe Serna Amaya led the Chargers to a hard-fought 2-1 Victory!! over Vermilion.  Alex Davidson placed a beautiful pass to Jose Serna Amaya who put in an outstanding header for the first goal.  Then the Chargers had a stellar Kellen Mcdonnell goal from a well-timed pass from Josh Wikel to score the winning goal.  Go Chargers!!

Boys Soccer vs Tiffin Columbian

The varsity boys soccer team was electric last night, ripping off 11 goals to defeat Tiffin Columbian in a SBC conference match. Goal scorer's included Carter Jones, Trevor Leimeister, Kellen McDonnell, Jose Serna Amaya with 2, and Alex Davidson with 6. The Chargers are back in action tonight facing Mohawk in a JV match at Bolt Field and again Thursday in a big conference match vs Vermilion. Go Chargers!!

Boys Soccer vs Upper Sandusky

The Charger boys soccer team battled to a hard-fought 5-3 victory against the Upper Sandusky Rams.  The Chargers went down 3-0 in the first half before pulling a goal back before intermission.  In the second half, the Chargers displayed great teamwork, resilience, and determination to claw back a victory.  Captain Jose Serna Amaya scored 4 goals and fellow Captain Alex Davidson tallied the final goal.  It was a total team effort! Go Chargers!
